I love creating pieces that catch the eye and make you think or question everything. Before I start a new piece I allow my mind to wander to all corners of the social, political and emotional world and this is what gives my pieces a soul. I want people to feel a strong emotion when they view my work.
My Favorite Piece?
My favorite piece is always the one that I am currently working on. Sometimes I will spend two or three solid days working on piece nonstop. I become so engrossed in the piece that I cannot tear myself from it.
Perfecting the Eye
I have spent years working on perfecting the eye. The eyeball has been a challenge for me since I was very young and is an important aspect of my work.
